I have grown up in and around our family business, which has been operating for almost three decades. From a young age I watched my parents build the company on simple principles, look after people, do the job properly, and always put the customer first. Those values have stayed with me and still shape how I work today.

Over the years I’ve gained experience across every part of the industry: modernisation, installation, servicing, technical fault finding, and lift testing and commissioning of lifts. Having that hands-on background helps me understand the challenges on site and the expectations our customers have.

Now, as Managing Director, I use that experience to support the team, keep the business moving in the right direction, and make sure we continue delivering the reliable, honest service that’s been at the core of our family business since the beginning.

Nikki co-founded Arrow Lift Engineers Ltd in 1998 alongside her husband, Iain, with a clear vision to build a family business that delivers reliable, honest lift services with a personal touch. Over 25 years later, she’s still at the heart of the company, now serving as Chief Operating Officer making sure the day-to-day operations run smoothly and the team stays on track (and smiling).

With family at her core, Nikki brings a people first approach to the business,  whether she’s supporting staff, looking after clients, or keeping everything behind the scenes ticking along. She’s proud to have helped shape Arrow Lift Engineers into the close knit, values driven company it is today.

Outside of work, Nikki finds joy in cooking (when she can carve out the time), long walks with the family dogs, and dancing - preferably somewhere sunny in Ibiza with great music. She believes in working hard, staying grounded, and always making time for family & friends.  

With over 40 years of experience across multiple areas of the lift industry, Iain Phillips began his career with a large national lift company. Over the years, he held a variety of roles including installation and modernisation engineer, technician, tester, and later transitioned into technical sales, regional and national sales management, and branch leadership.

In 1998, Iain and his wife Nikki co-founded Arrow Lift Engineers Ltd, driven by a shared vision to build a knowledgeable and experienced team committed to delivering high levels of service and offering honest, genuine advice and value to clients across all lift disciplines.

Now well into its third decade of trading, Arrow Lift Engineers remains proudly independent and privately owned. In 2024, the company became a second-generation family business, with their son Harvey stepping into the role of Managing Director.

As CEO, Iain Phillips continues to support the highly valued team assembled over the years, ensuring the company continues to evolve and provide exceptional service to its clients.

I’ve worked in the lift industry for over 17 years, all of which have been with the Arrow team.   My career began on the tools, specialising in modernisations and repairs, which gave me a strong hands-on foundation and a real understanding of how lifts operate day to day, as well as the challenges engineers face on site.

Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of equipment and fault scenarios. This experience has shaped a practical, straightforward approach to problem solving; focusing on what matters, doing the job properly, and finding the right solutions for our clients.  

In my role as Technical Director, I am responsible for the technical engineering across our portfolio. I support our engineering team with clear, practical guidance and ensure consistent standards across all works, helping us deliver safe, reliable outcomes for all of our clients.  

Zoe has over 30 years of customer service experience, including the last 10 years in the lift industry, she has built a career on delivering a professional, reliable, and personable service across a wide range of environments. Zoe has been involved with new lift projects on construction sites and modernisation projects across a wide range of clients, she thrives on building strong relationships with all clients and consultants. Zoe takes pride in ensuring every project is handled with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Outside of work Zoe enjoys spending time with her family and the occasional cheeky cocktail.

Leona is hands-on Service Delivery Manager with a real passion for providing reliable, high-quality support to both customers and our team. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of the lift industry and takes pride in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work Leona is bossed around by her Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is the real manager at home and runs a tight ship (especially when treats are involved!). Leona also enjoys spending quality time with her family, making the most of any time when they get together, with plenty of laughs along the way.

I am a project manager with over seven years of experience in the lift industry. Within the business, I oversee and manage our modernisation and installation projects, ensuring each one is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. I take real pride in my work and enjoy being the person people rely on to solve problems and keep projects moving smoothly.

Outside of work, I’m the proud owner of a French Bulldog and someone who values strong connections with my family. I love staying active — whether that’s playing golf, getting on the paddle court, or heading out for a good walk. When I have the chance to unwind, you’ll often find me relaxing on a sun lounger with a cold beer or making the most of a dance floor.

At work, Dom is all about getting stuck into challenges and finding smart, practical solutions, ideally after the first coffee has kicked in. He’s motivated, focused, and always ready to tackle whatever’s next on the list.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find him outdoors, either by the sea, up a mountain, or somewhere in between, ideally with some sun, good food, and even better company. A big fan of travel and anything edible, Dom has a soft spot for places with great views and even better menus.

When time allows, he’s out hiking with his dog, a loyal trail companion with selective hearing and a talent for finding the muddiest possible route. It’s the perfect way to switch off and recharge.

Outside of work, I enjoy family time, getting out on the golf course, and unwinding with a cold Guinness. I believe in keeping things balanced, working hard, having fun, and making time for what matters most.

With a strong foundation in education, I recently transitioned into the lift industry, where the fast-paced environment and technical challenges have sparked a new sense of motivation. Although new to the field, I’m quickly developing my knowledge and skills, and I’m genuinely enjoying the variety and problem-solving the industry offers. I bring a people-focused approach from my education background, a commitment to learning, and a positive attitude to every job and customer interaction.

When Rupert was young and was looking at future careers, he wanted to become an ‘International playboy’, However due to the lack of an obscene fortune and good looks he settled for accountancy.

Rupert is our company accountant.  He works tirelessly to dispel stereotypes that accountants are ‘Dull, boring bean counters’.  He does this by never wearing a tie to work and not talking too much about his favorite accounting standards, tax statues and methods of depreciation.

He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has been operating his own practice for over 25 years.

Rupert manages the company’s day to day finance functions.  Making sure the company is resourced to meet and then exceed the expectations of our staff, customers, and stakeholders.

When not living the dream as a ‘Man of Finance’ he enjoys running, football and karate.

Managing the accounting systems; preparing accounts; overseeing budgets; dealing with payroll and compliance obligations.  Does that sound ‘Dull’ to you?

When not busy keeping things ticking at work, Evie is planning her next holiday, singing (loudly and proudly) at a music event, or spending time with family, usually with good food and plenty of laughter involved. With a love for people, playlists, and a well-earned day off, Evie brings a warm energetic vibe to everything she does.

Sam has worked in accounts for nearly 30 years and has always enjoyed working with figures, numbers, and problem-solving. Sam thrives on a challenge and enjoys finding solutions while keeping everything accurate and organised.
Outside of work, Sam loves fine dining and discovering new restaurants. Married to a chef has given her a real appreciation for great food and culinary experiences. Sam also enjoys interior design and home renovation projects, where she combines creativity with attention to detail.
